"Let's start with the good news: the new AMG GLC 63 S E Performance Coupe pumps out 671 horsepower when the gas and electric motors are working in tandem. Unfortunately, that gas motor only has four cylinders, and while the electric motor is part of a plug-in-hybrid system, the estimated all-electric range is less than 10 miles. The engineering wizardry behind this powertrain is obviously world-class, but if you're like us, you're probably wishing Mercedes would just bring back the V8-powered GLC 63 Coupe that was discontinued after the 2021 model year. That right there was a high-performance SUV with personality and attitude to spare, which is the whole point of this segment, really.
