The AMG GLC 63 S E Performance Coupe debuts with a four-cylinder PHEV powertrain that boasts 671 horsepower and, er, less than 10 miles of EV range. Across the lineup, newly standard features include third-generation MBUX infotainment software, a digital vehicle key and a center airbag between the front seats.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe a Good SUV?
"Recently redesigned, the GLC Coupe is a strong contender if you're looking at the standard GLC 300 model, which utilizes a peppy yet fuel-efficient turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The main problem with the GLC Coupe lineup is that if you want more performance, the AMG-tuned models only have four cylinders themselves, so it's hard to make the case for laying out a bunch more dough. But if you're fine with the base engine, the GLC Coupe certainly offers an impressive roster of tech and luxury features to go with it."—Ranked #2 out of 4 Compact Luxury SUV Coupes

If you've been following the "SUV coupe" trend, you know the drill: The GLC Coupe has less cargo space than the GLC SUV that it's based on, yet it's more expensive. Hey, if you like the styling, we understand. Note that the entry-level GLC 300 4MATIC Coupe comes standard with all-wheel drive, so there is no rear-drive GLC Coupe, whereas the GLC 300 SUV comes standard with rear-wheel drive.
2. 2025 Mercedes-Benz AMG GLC 43 Coupe (2.0T AWD)
- Base Price: $72,990
- MPG Combined: 21
- Drive Type: All-wheel drive
- Engine: 2.0-liter inline-4

- Torque: 369 lb-ft
- 0-60: 4.7 sec
- Weight: 4,542 lbs

Like the other AMG models that have switched over to four-cylinder power, the AMG GLC 43 Coupe will disappoint purists with its lack of character and its fake engine noises piped through the speakers. The fuel economy is unremarkable, too, so you don't get the expected benefit of cylinder downsizing there.

- Base Price: $91,450
- MPG Combined: N/A
- EV Range: 6 mi (est.)

- Engine: 2.0-liter inline-4
- Aspiration: Turbocharged

A four-cylinder AMG GLC 63? Yup. If you want a GLC 63 these days, You can take your pick between the regular GLC SUV and the Coupe style reviewed here, but you're stuck with four cylinders either way. Granted, those cylinders are part of a plug-in-hybrid powertrain that adds up to 671 horsepower when you floor it, so don't shed too many tears for those who will end up driving these beasts. But it's hard to believe that high-performance SUV fans will be drawn to this reinvented model, especially since there's no PHEV payoff — you don't even get to double-digit EV range before the gas engine kicks in. So what's the point? We suspect a lot of would-be buyers will be shopping for used V8-powered GLC 63 Coupes instead.
