1. 2024 Porsche Taycan 4 Cross Turismo (Dual Motor AWD)
- Base Price: $101,900
- Range: 235 mi
- Battery Capacity: 93.4 kWh
- Peak Charge Rate: 270 kW
- Drive Type: All-wheel drive
- Engine: 1 electric motor
- Horsepower: 469
- Torque: 368 lb-ft
- 0-60: 4.8 sec
- Weight: 5,029 lbs
- Length: 195.4 in
Porsche's wacky electric wagon starts out with a humble 235-mile range rating from the EPA, but believe it or not, that's actually the best range of any Cross Turismo variant. That's because the Cross Turismo, unlike the Taycan sedan, comes standard with the bigger battery — and if you get a fancier trim level of the Cross Turismo, it's going to have more power, which uses up more battery juice. So if you want to maximize your range, this is the version you're looking for right here.
2. 2024 Porsche Taycan 4S Cross Turismo (Dual Motor AWD)
- Base Price: $118,200
- Range: 230 mi
- Battery Capacity: 93.4 kWh
- Peak Charge Rate: 270 kW
- Drive Type: All-wheel drive
- Engine: 2 electric motors
- Horsepower: 562
- Torque: 479 lb-ft
- 0-60: 3.9 sec
- Weight: 5,033 lbs
- Length: 195.8 in
The Taycan 4S Cross Turismo is a fairly appealing proposition, assuming you're all-in on the idea of an electrified station wagon. It offers appreciably more speed than the base Taycan 4 Cross Turismo and only gives up five miles of range in the bargain.
3. 2024 Porsche Taycan GTS Sport Turismo
- Base Price: $141,200
- Range: 233 mi
- Battery Capacity: 93.4 kWh
- Peak Charge Rate: 270 kW
- Drive Type: All-wheel drive
- Engine: 1 electric motor
- Horsepower: 590
- Torque: 626 lb-ft
- 0-60: 3.5 sec
- Weight: 5,152 lbs
- Length: 195.4 in
If you like the idea of a super-fast electric wagon but don't dig the Taycan Cross Turismo's SUV-ish aesthetic, give the GTS Sport Turismo a look. It's almost identical to the Cross Turismo dimensionally, and its maximum ground clearance is actually only 0.3 inch lower than that of the Cross Turismo, but the GTS Sport Turismo is all about on-road performance.
4. 2024 Porsche Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo (Dual Motor AWD)
- Base Price: $163,400
- Range: 233 mi
- Battery Capacity: 93.4 kWh
- Peak Charge Rate: 270 kW
- Drive Type: All-wheel drive
- Engine: 2 electric motors
- Horsepower: 670
- Torque: 626 lb-ft
- 0-60: 3.1 sec
- Weight: 5,196 lbs
- Length: 195.8 in
The Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo pulls the neat trick of having both (a lot) more power and (a little) more range than its lesser 4S Cross Turismo sibling. But it also loses a bit of cargo capacity and costs about $45k extra. Cool car, but that's a tough sell.
5. 2024 Porsche Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo (Dual Motor AWD)
- Base Price: $197,500
- Range: 222 mi
- Battery Capacity: 93.4 kWh
- Peak Charge Rate: 270 kW
- Drive Type: All-wheel drive
- Engine: 2 electric motors
- Horsepower: 750
- Torque: 774 lb-ft
- 0-60: 2.7 sec
- Weight: 5,199 lbs
- Length: 195.8 in
Man, it's gotta be hard to sell these Turbo S Cross Turismos. Yes, yes, 0-60 in 2.7 seconds is incredible for a 2.5-ton-plus station wagon. But the Turbo Cross Turismo is only a few tenths slower, and even the 4S Cross Turismo breaks the four-second barrier. So why pay tens of thousands more for the Turbo S, which incidentally has easily the worst driving range of the trio?
