What's New for 2024?
The AMG GLC 43 Coupe is reborn this year, but it's not the triumphant return Mercedes might have envisioned. Saddled with a four-cylinder powertrain that's now heavily featured across the AMG brand, the new GLC 43 Coupe will likely disappoint those who experienced the robust sound and speed of the previous V6-powered model. We'd be in a more forgiving mood if the four-banger was a fuel-economy standout, but sadly that's not the case.

Like the other AMG models that have switched over to four-cylinder power, the AMG GLC 43 Coupe will disappoint purists with its lack of character and its fake engine noises piped through the speakers. The fuel economy is unremarkable, too, so you don't get the expected benefit of cylinder downsizing there.
