It's hard to get on board with a plug-in hybrid that delivers less than 10 miles of electric range, but if we ever do a list of the prettiest PHEVs, the AMG GT 63 S E Performance looks like a lock for the top spot. (Photo: Mercedes-Benz)
Not that we dislike the idea of a gorgeous 805-horsepower Mercedes sports car, but the AMG GT 63 S E Performance's complex plug-in-hybrid powertrain makes the car nearly 500 pounds heavier than the non-hybrid, V8-powered GT 55. (Photo: Mercedes-Benz)
We doubt many 2025 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 63 S E Performance owners will plug their cars in on a regular basis, because they won't even get 10 miles of all-electric range from a full charge. (Photo: Mercedes-Benz)

Yikes! The plug-in-hybrid AMG GT 63 S E Performance stores its battery pack directly above the rear axle, which is why it has barely half the cargo capacity of the other GT models. Can you even fit a golf bag in there? We'll try to report back on that. (Photo: Mercedes-Benz)
The AMG GT's interior aesthetic is restrained by Benz's current standards. You still get the multicolor disco accent lighting that has spread throughout the Mercedes lineup, but we like how the portrait-style touchscreen sits down below the dashboard, letting the driver focus on what matters most. It's a special cabin for a special car. (Photo: Mercedes-Benz)
