Is the 2026 Lucid Gravity a Good SUV?
"The Gravity's optional third seating row puts Lucid in the three-row EV game in a big way. Although the Escalade IQ is projected to win the range race by 10 miles, the Gravity Grand Touring trounces all other comers with its 450-mile maximum, even that all-around superhero known as the Rivian R1S. Acceleration is also top-notch, with 60 mph arriving in the mid-3-second range. Just like Rivian, Lucid delivers these incredible numbers at a remarkably low price relative to many rivals. The R1S wins at off-roading, towing and looking buff, but this race could really go either way."—Ranked #2 out of 11 Large 3-Row Electric SUVs
"The Gravity is a great example of how the New Big Three of Lucid, Rivian and Tesla are smashing the establishment in the face. If you spring for the Grand Touring trim, you get up to 450 miles of range and supercar-grade sprints to 60 mph (3.4 seconds, says Lucid), yet you're still looking at five-figure pricing to start, albeit barely. GM wants six figures for comparable acceleration in the Hummer EV SUV 3X, and the Hummer's range falls woefully short of the Gravity Grand Touring's standard. As for Mercedes-Benz's $160k-plus G-Class EV, fugghedaboutit. We continue to believe that Lucid needs a fresh design language, but if you can live with those melty-soft lines, there's little else here to kvetch about."—Ranked #2 out of 7 Premium Luxury Electric SUVs
