"Lexus must have heard us complaining about the lackluster acceleration of the standard RX 350h, because the RX 500h puts the focus squarely on hybrid performance, delivering 366 horsepower and 0-60 in 5.9 seconds. There's a tradeoff, naturally: fuel economy dips from 36 mpg (RX 350h) to 27 mpg. But it's great to have choices, right? Maybe you don't care that much about acceleration, in which case you can save about $15k and get better efficiency with the RX 350h.
