What's New for 2025?
New this year is an SE trim package that slots above the base LX model and uses the same 1.5T four-cylinder engine as the LX. All other Accords continue to employ the hybrid powertrain, and the entire 2025 Accord lineup is treated to standard rear air conditioning vents and USB-C ports. The hybrid-powered Sport trim also adds standard heated front seats and wireless phone charging.

Is the 2025 Honda Accord a Good Car?
"The Accord continues to contend for class supremacy with its athletic handling, spacious interior and impressive fuel economy, especially with the available hybrid powertrain. If you want the Accord Hybrid, though, be aware that it starts more than $5k higher than the hybrid-only Camry, so value isn't on Honda's side in this case. But as ever, the Accord drives remarkably well for a family sedan, and Honda has finally fixed the road-noise problem that plagued earlier generations. Throw in a roomy backseat and trunk and it's clear why sedan shoppers still can't get enough of this iconic model."—Ranked #2 out of 7 Midsize Sedans
Which 2025 Honda Accord Should I Buy?

1. 2025 Honda Accord 1.5T
- Base Price: $28,295
- MPG Combined: 32
- Drive Type: Front-wheel drive
- Engine: 1.5-liter inline-4
- Aspiration: Turbocharged
- Transmission: CVT
- Horsepower: 192
- Torque: 192 lb-ft
- 0-60: 7.3 sec
- Weight: 3,239 lbs
- Length: 195.7 in
The 1.5T engine has been knocked down a peg in the current Accord lineup, now serving as more of an entry-level option while the hybrid powertrain dominates the pricier trims. In the previous generation, the 1.5T could be found up and down the lineup. Fuel economy continues to be a strong suit, but Honda didn't add any performance for this generation, which means the acceleration hasn't improved since 2018.
2. 2025 Honda Accord Hybrid Sport/Touring (19-Inch Wheels)
- Base Price: $33,655
- MPG Combined: 44
- Drive Type: Front-wheel drive
- Engine: 2.0-liter inline-4
- Aspiration: Naturally aspirated
- Transmission: Automatic
- Horsepower: 204
- Torque: 247 lb-ft
- 0-60: 6.6 sec
- Weight: 3,477 lbs
- Length: 195.7 in
Most Accord Hybrid trims come standard with 19-inch wheels, including the Sport trim, which is the specific Accord Hybrid that starts at the base price cited here. You'll see that the fuel economy is already stellar, but if you can live with less sporty-looking 17-inch wheels, those numbers get even better.
3. 2025 Honda Accord Hybrid EX-L (17-Inch Wheels)
- Base Price: $34,940
- MPG Combined: 48
- Drive Type: Front-wheel drive
- Engine: 2.0-liter inline-4
- Aspiration: Naturally aspirated
- Transmission: Automatic
- Horsepower: 204
- Torque: 247 lb-ft
- 0-60: 6.6 sec
- Weight: 3,468 lbs
- Length: 195.7 in
There's only one Accord Hybrid that comes with 17-inch wheels, and that's the EX-L trim, which actually costs more than the base Sport with its 19-inch wheels. Why pay more for 17s? Because if the EPA's right about those fuel economy projections, you're going to save a significant sum over time due to the car's superior efficiency with the smaller wheels.
