What's New for 2025?
A more affordable base AWD model with smaller 19-inch wheels joins the fray, and since wheel size means everything when it comes to EV efficiency, this cheapest of the GV60 AWD offerings also has the best range. Additionally, every GV60 now comes standard with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Is the 2025 Genesis GV60 a Good SUV?
"The GV60 is one of many genre-benders among luxury electric SUVs, as it looks more like a sporty hatchback than a sport 'ute. In any case, it's also got a great set of attributes, whether you want range (nearly 300 miles from the rear-drive model) or all-season power and traction (314-429 hp from the dual-motor AWD versions). You do give up a lot of range if you want that second motor, but that’s a common affliction among EVs. A lofty DC charge rate makes the GV60 ready for road trips, too, as does the nicely trimmed interior with cutting-edge infotainment. Perhaps the biggest problem for the GV60, aside from the Model Y's existence, is the fact that the far cheaper Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6 use the same platform and boast comparable capabilities."—Ranked #4 out of 13 Compact Luxury Electric SUVs

1. 2025 Genesis GV60 Standard (Single Motor Rear-Wheel Drive)
- Base Price: $52,350
- Range: 294 mi
- Battery Capacity: 77.4 kWh
- Peak Charge Rate: 240 kW
- Drive Type: Rear-wheel drive
- Engine: 1 electric motor
- Horsepower: 225
- Torque: 258 lb-ft
- Weight: 4,464 lbs
- Length: 177.8 in
- Towing Capacity: 2,000 lbs
The entry-level GV60 is notable for having by far the most range of any GV60 variant. That's because the others add power while using the same battery, so they're naturally less efficient.
2. 2025 Genesis GV60 Base AWD (Dual-Motor All-Wheel Drive)
- Base Price: $55,850
- Range: 264 mi
- Battery Capacity: 77.4 kWh
- Peak Charge Rate: 240 kW
- Drive Type: All-wheel drive
- Engine: 2 electric motors
- Horsepower: 314
- Torque: 446 lb-ft
- Weight: 4,696 lbs
- Length: 177.8 in
- Towing Capacity: 2,000 lbs
The base AWD version of the GV60 strikes an appealing balance — it gets the same huge influx of power and torque as the pricier Advanced version, yet its smaller wheels help it squeeze out 16 extra miles of range. So if you want the extra power and/or traction of dual-motor AWD but don't want to give up any more range than you have to, this is your GV60.
3. 2025 Genesis GV60 Advanced (Dual-Motor All-Wheel Drive)
- Base Price: $60,900
- Range: 248 mi
- Battery Capacity: 77.4 kWh
- Peak Charge Rate: 240 kW
- Drive Type: All-wheel drive
- Engine: 2 electric motors
- Horsepower: 314
- Torque: 446 lb-ft
- Weight: 4,696 lbs
- Length: 177.8 in
- Towing Capacity: 2,000 lbs
There's no denying that the Advanced version of the GV60 gets a massive injection of power and torque, thanks to the addition of a second motor. It also loses a pretty massive amount of driving range, though — almost 50 miles — and it costs considerably more than the base Standard trim.
4. 2025 Genesis GV60 Performance (Dual-Motor All-Wheel Drive)
- Base Price: $69,900
- Range: 235 mi
- Battery Capacity: 77.4 kWh
- Peak Charge Rate: 240 kW
- Drive Type: All-wheel drive
- Engine: 2 electric motors
- Horsepower: 429
- Torque: 516 lb-ft
- 0-60: 3.7 sec
- Weight: 4,872 lbs
- Length: 177.8 in
- Towing Capacity: 2,000 lbs
The GV60 Performance is a good example of how EVs can make incredible acceleration seem mundane. Not many small SUVs in automotive history have dispensed with the 0-60 sprint in less than four seconds. But the Performance trim suffers on the range front, dropping to 235 miles, a humble figure by today's standards.
