BMW's B58 turbocharged inline-6 engine has been wowing us in various applications for many years, but it may have reached new heights in the 2025 X3 M50. Consider that the M50 only trails the base four-cylinder xDrive30 by 2 mpg combined, per the EPA, despite making 138 more horsepower and getting to 60 mph 1.6 seconds sooner.
