There's no denying the awesomeness of the i4 M50's acceleration, and if you stick with the 19-inch wheels, it only gives up 10 miles of range to the significantly slower (but still very quick) i4 xDrive40. That's a neat trick by BMW's engineers — adding huge power with hardly any tradeoff in terms of range despite using the same battery.
What a difference an inch of wheel diameter can make, eh? We just don't see the value in this package — you're paying more to lose 42 miles of range, and you're not gaining any acceleration in the deal.
