Redesigned for 2025, the new SQ5 Sportback largely carries over the outgoing model's turbo V6 engine, although it gets modest boosts of 13 horsepower and 37 pound-feet of torque. The driving character changes somewhat, however, due to the seven-speed automated manual transmission, which replaces the previous generation's eight-speed conventional auto.
