Pumped up for 2024 with a newly embiggened battery, the VF 8 Eco can still only manage a middling 264-mile range estimate. Still, with that range plus a 0-60 time of 6 seconds, the VF 8 does deliver some value on paper, especially with its unparalleled 10-year comprehensive warranty.
Compared to the base Eco version, the VF 8 Plus surrenders 21 miles of range but picks up about a half-second to 60 mph, per VinFast. Unfortunately, neither the range nor the acceleration sets the VF 8 apart from rival EV SUVs.
