What's New for 2025?
The Cayenne GTS Coupe debuts with a slightly saucier version of the Cayenne S Coupe's twin-turbo V8 along with a sport-tuned adaptive air suspension, reduced noise insulation and various GTS-specific styling touches inside and out. Is the 2025 Porsche Cayenne Coupe V8 a Good SUV?
"The Cayenne Coupe V8 has a trick up its sleeve that the regular Cayenne V8 lacks: the Turbo GT, a 650-horsepower madman that does zero to 60 in 3.1 seconds and comes only in Coupe form. It starts at more than $200k, however, so you may prefer to set your sights on the Cayenne S Coupe (468 hp) or the Cayenne GTS Coupe (493 hp). You could even throw in some all-electric driving range with the Turbo E-Hybrid Coupe plug-in hybrid, which pumps out 729 hp but trails the Turbo GT by a few tenths because it weighs 700 pounds more. Decisions, decisions. Just know that you can't go wrong here with a V8 under the hood and the Cayenne Coupe's trifecta of athleticism, refinement and tech-forward features."—Ranked #1 out of 3 Midsize High-Performance SUV Coupes

1. 2025 Porsche Cayenne Coupe S (4.0T AWD)
- Base Price: $108,000
- MPG Combined: 17
- Drive Type: All-wheel drive
- Engine: 4.0-liter V8
- Aspiration: Turbocharged
- Transmission: 8-speed automatic
- Horsepower: 468
- Torque: 442 lb-ft
- 0-60: 4.4 sec
- Weight: 4,941 lbs
- Length: 194.1 in
- Towing Capacity: 7,716 lbs
Just like the base Cayenne Coupe, the V8-powered S Coupe beats the regular Cayenne S by three-tenths to 60 mph, and for the same reason: Sport Chrono (with launch control) comes standard on the Coupe but is optional on the standard Cayenne. In any case, we're not enamored of the Cayenne Coupe's styling, but this turbo V8 is so good that it might make us forget about that. It's the one to have in this lineup.
2. 2025 Porsche Cayenne Coupe GTS (4.0T AWD)
- Base Price: $129,500
- MPG Combined: 18
- Drive Type: All-wheel drive
- Engine: 4.0-liter V8
- Aspiration: Turbocharged
- Transmission: 8-speed automatic
- Horsepower: 493
- Torque: 486 lb-ft
- 0-60: 4.2 sec
- Weight: 5,027 lbs
- Length: 194.1 in
- Towing Capacity: 7,716 lbs
The Cayenne GTS Coupe is only quicker to 60 mph than the regular Cayenne GTS because launch control comes standard (via the Sport Chrono package). The GTS Coupe actually outweighs the standard GTS by about 70 pounds, so if anything, we'd expect the non-Coupe to nose ahead with launch control.
3. 2025 Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid Coupe (4.0T PHEV AWD)
- Base Price: $161,500
- MPG Combined: N/A
- EV Range: N/A
- Drive Type: All-wheel drive
- Engine: 4.0-liter V8
- Aspiration: Turbocharged
- Transmission: 8-speed automatic
- Horsepower: 729
- Torque: 700 lb-ft
- 0-60: 3.5 sec
- Weight: 5,719 lbs
- Length: 194.1 in
- Towing Capacity: 6,614 lbs
If we had to choose a Cayenne Coupe hybrid, this one would win easily. The V8 really brings this SUV to life, and although the same is true of the V8 in the regular Cayenne S, the question was which hybrid we'd have, right? Of course, if the hybrids had 50 miles of range rather than something in the 20s, we'd be having a very different conversation.
4. 2025 Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT (4.0T AWD)
- Base Price: $203,800
- MPG Combined: 17
- Drive Type: All-wheel drive
- Engine: 4.0-liter V8
- Aspiration: Turbocharged
- Transmission: 8-speed automatic
- Horsepower: 650
- Torque: 626 lb-ft
- 0-60: 3.1 sec
- Weight: 5,055 lbs
- Length: 194.2 in
- Towing Capacity: 7,716 lbs
The Turbo GT is on a whole different level, barely needing 3 seconds to hit 60 mph.
