"Saddled with the same 78-horsepower three-cylinder engine as its Mirage Hatchback stablemate, the Mirage G4 sedan does not merit consideration as a new car today. You shouldn't consider it as a used car, either. Yes, the fuel economy's great, but that's partly because the engine's so weak that it takes 12.8 seconds to hit 60 mph. The other contributing factor is the Mirage G4's frightfully meager weight — you'd be out there amidst the SUVs in a sedan weighing 200 pounds less than a Miata.
