Is the 2025 Lincoln Corsair Plug-In Hybrid a Good SUV?
"The Corsair PHEV offers a handy-around-town EV range of 27 miles, but its 7.0-second gallop to 60 mph is yesterday's news. It's also getting easier to find PHEVs that provide many more than 27 miles on battery power. To be fair, 33 mpg is pretty good fuel economy for a PHEV in this category, but the plug-in Corsair ultimately can't go toe-to-toe with the best luxury plug-in-hybrid SUVs."—Ranked #5 out of 5 Compact Luxury PHEV SUVs
Which 2025 Lincoln Corsair Plug-In Hybrid Should I Buy?
MotorDonkey's proprietary vehicle data identifies every significant version of each model so that you can compare and decide. There's only one standalone version of the 2025 Lincoln Corsair Plug-In Hybrid, and here it is, along with our expert analysis and recommendations.
2025 Lincoln Corsair Plug-In Hybrid (2.5 AWD CVT)

- EV Range: 27 mi
- MPG Combined: 33
- Drive Type: All-wheel drive
- Engine: 2.5-liter inline-4

The Corsair plug-in hybrid isn't easy to recommend. It's far more expensive than other Corsairs, yet it's also slower to accelerate, and 27 miles of electric range isn't impressive these days. On the bright side, 33 mpg combined is pretty solid, and the Corsair PHEV comes standard with all-wheel drive, which the related Ford Escape PHEV lacks.
