FAST FACTS
2025 Infiniti QX60
Rank
Pros
- Recent redesign makes it fresher than most Infiniti products
- Attractive and nicely appointed interior
- Quiet at speed
Cons
- New four-cylinder engine makes the QX60 significantly slower and not much more fuel-efficient
- The closely related Nissan Pathfinder continues to use the stronger V6 and is much cheaper
What's New for 2025?
The 2025 QX60 trades its former 3.5-liter V6 engine for a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder borrowed from the smaller QX50 (among others). Fortunately, the QX60 doesn't also borrow the QX50's CVT; the conventional nine-speed automatic persists. Still, the 2.0T's fuel economy advantage is only marginal, and it makes the QX60 a significantly slower SUV. In other news, a Black Edition package debuts this year.

Is the 2025 Infiniti QX60 a Good SUV?
"Despite a fairly recent redesign, the QX60 sits at the back of this pack due to its lackluster four-cylinder powertrain. Without exaggeration, the Nissan Pathfinder — which shares the QX60's platform — may be a better bet due to its standard V6 engine, which handily out-accelerates the four-cylinder QX60 with hardly any fuel-economy penalty. The QX60 used to have the same V6, but not anymore, and getting significantly slower isn't helping the Infiniti's cause."—Ranked #9 out of 10 Midsize 3-Row Luxury SUVs
Which 2025 Infiniti QX60 Should I Buy?
MotorDonkey's proprietary vehicle data identifies every significant version of each model so that you can compare and decide. Ordered by price from low to high, here are the versions of the 2025 Infiniti QX60 that you need to be aware of, along with our expert analysis and recommendations.

- MPG Combined: 24
- Drive Type: Front-wheel drive
- Engine: 2.0-liter inline-4
- Aspiration: Turbocharged
- Transmission: 9-speed automatic
- Horsepower: 268
- Torque: 286 lb-ft
- Weight: 4,516 lbs
- Length: 198.2 in
- Towing Capacity: N/A
We remain grateful that Infiniti dropped the CVT in favor of a conventional 9-speed automatic for this latest iteration of its three-row luxury wagon — er, SUV. And we're grateful anew that despite trading its V6 engine for the 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder from the QX50, the QX60 continues to utilize the 9-speed automatic rather than the QX50's CVT. Having said those nice things, we need to tell you that the QX60's cheaper Nissan Pathfinder platform-mate continues to use that V6, which means it's now a significantly faster vehicle, as the four-cylinder QX60 accelerates a lot less swiftly than the discontinued V6 version. The QX60 already had a hard time making the case for itself versus the Nissan, and getting significantly slower isn't helping.
2. 2025 Infiniti QX60 2.0T All-Wheel Drive
- Base Price: $52,200
- MPG Combined: 24
- Drive Type: All-wheel drive
- Engine: 2.0-liter inline-4
- Aspiration: Turbocharged
- Transmission: 9-speed automatic
- Horsepower: 268
- Torque: 286 lb-ft
- 0-60: 7.5 sec
- Weight: 4,645 lbs
- Length: 198.2 in
- Towing Capacity: 6,000 lbs
Adding AWD bumps up the QX60's weight by about 130 pounds, which won't help the cause on the acceleration front. Seriously, 0-60 in seven and a half seconds is downright slow for a luxury SUV. Note that towing is only possible with the optional tow package, which is only available on the upper-tier Sensory trim. The base Pure trim is the one that starts at the price listed here, while the top-of-the-line Autograph isn't eligible for towing either. In short, if you want to tow anything with your QX60, brace yourself for the Sensory AWD's starting price of more than $60k, and don't get the Autograph.
