"The Santa Fe Hybrid is a bit of an oddball here, as it's notably longer than most compact SUVs and has a third row of seats. It's smaller than the midsize crew, however, and if you're looking for a compact hybrid SUV with manageable dimensions, we'd be remiss not to mention this Hyundai. Beyond the bonus third row, the Santa Fe Hybrid boasts an impressively tech-forward cabin and styling that's somewhere between the old Ford Flex and, maybe if you're squinting really hard, some kind of Land Rover.
