What's New for 2025?
The Odyssey gets a minor exterior refresh — squint or you'll miss it — but there's a lot more going on inside, including a standard 7-inch digital instrument panel, a slightly larger 9-inch color touchscreen (though Kia and Toyota trump the Odyssey with their own new widescreens for 2025), wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility, a wireless phone charger and additional USB-C ports throughout the cabin. The rear entertainment system has also been updated with a larger 12.8-inch display. You don't get all of this for free, by the way, as the base price has increased by nearly $4k.

Is the 2025 Honda Odyssey a Good Minivan?
"The Odyssey doesn't get significant updates very often, which makes sense — it's such a solid vehicle that it's a perennial all-star no matter what. But there are plenty of updates for 2025, so now's a great time to take another look at Honda's venerable van. If you want the best fuel economy, though, you're looking in the wrong place. The Odyssey's V6 engine does a decent job at the pump, but multiple rivals now offer hybrid technology, and this engine can't compete with that. We're also unimpressed by the Odyssey's infotainment screen despite its overhaul this year; Kia and Toyota set a high bar in this area, and the Honda still falls short. On the other hand, the 2025 Honda Odyssey maintains Honda's traditional edge in acceleration and handling — it's gratifying to drive, as minivans go — and its 'Magic Slide' second-row seats continue to offer a unique range of configurations. Overall, the Odyssey remains a really good minivan despite not having been redesigned since 2018; just don't expect it to feel as fresh inside as its top rivals."—Ranked #3 out of 5 Minivans

The Odyssey's passenger space in the third row is so much better than what you'll get in any three-row SUV. If you're going to use the third seating row on a regular basis, there is no substitute for a minivan.
