What's New for 2025?
The Durango is fundamentally unchanged this year, but the lineup has been greatly simplified. All Durangos now have three seating rows (last year there was a smattering of two-row builds), and all but the base GT come standard with all-wheel drive. The SRT 392 has sadly been discontinued, leaving only the R/T and the SRT Hellcat as V8-powered options. Speaking of the Hellcat, it comes in three distinct flavors for 2025 — Silver Bullet, Hammerhead or Brass Monkey — for the same six-figure base price.

Is the 2025 Dodge Durango a Good SUV?
"The current Durango has been with us for what feels like forever, but it still drives and rides nicely, and there's adult-friendly room here in all three rows. Plus, if you want a rear-wheel-drive platform, the Durango remains one of your only options in this segment, and unlike the rear-drive Explorer, the Durango delivers truck-like towing capacity. You're also looking at the only mainstream three-row midsize SUV that offers V8 power — the Durango R/T is a hilariously fun family hauler if you're into that sort of thing, while the insane Durango SRT Hellcat effectively doubles the R/T V8's output (and price). Having said all that, you're taking a step back in time if you buy one of these. The platform is derived from the previous-generation Jeep Grand Cherokee, which goes back nearly 15 years. We have a soft spot for the Durango, but a significant refresh would go a long way toward restoring its competitiveness."—Ranked #15 out of 15 Midsize 3-Row SUVs
