We're still trying to figure out why both the Equinox EV and the Blazer EV exist, but one answer is the specific Equinox EV variant you're reading about. It's the front-wheel-drive configuration, and it's significantly cheaper than any Blazer EV. So if you're shopping for a midsize electric SUV from Chevy, think of the front-wheel-drive Equinox EV as the entry level.
The all-wheel-drive Equinox EV has the exact same power output as the AWD Blazer EV and isn't a whole lot cheaper, so we're a bit confused as to why both models exist.
