Which 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 Should I Buy?
MotorDonkey's proprietary vehicle data identifies every significant version of each model so that you can compare and decide. Ordered by price from low to high, here are the versions of the 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 that you need to be aware of, along with our expert analysis and recommendations.
1. 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 Coupe
- Base Price: $173,300
- MPG Combined: 14
- Drive Type: Rear-wheel drive
- Engine: 5.5-liter V8
- Aspiration: Turbocharged
- Transmission: 8-speed automated manual
- Horsepower: 1,064
- Torque: 828 lb-ft
- 0-60: 2.3 sec
- Weight: 3,670 lbs
- Length: 185.9 in
It takes a special kind of speed demon to conclude that the rest of the Corvette lineup just isn't fast enough, but if that sounds like you, the ZR-1 is the logical solution. Capable of hitting 60 mph from rest in 2.3 seconds if you check the box for the ZTK package (the standard ZR-1 does the deed in a serviceable 2.5 seconds), the ZR-1 clearly has no issues connecting its twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8's 1,064 horsepower with the pavement.
2. 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 Convertible
- Base Price: $183,300
- MPG Combined: 14
- Drive Type: Rear-wheel drive
- Engine: 5.5-liter V8
- Aspiration: Turbocharged
- Transmission: 8-speed automated manual
- Horsepower: 1,064
- Torque: 828 lb-ft
- 0-60: 2.3 sec
- Weight: 3,771 lbs
- Length: 184.6 in
Having 1,064 horsepower at your disposal and the wind in your hair is going to be quite a rush. That's the appeal of the ZR-1 convertible in a nutshell. We prefer the Z06 convertible with its naturally aspirated version of the ZR-1's twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8, but if you want a lot more torque down low in the rev range, the ZR-1 is a better solution.
