The front-wheel-drive XT5 2.0T is one of the slowest luxury crossovers on the market. If you love the XT5 otherwise, check out the optional 3.6-liter V6.
Adding all-wheel-drive to the XT5 2.0T increases the weight considerably, so all else being equal, it's likely to feel even slower.
The 3.6-liter V6 has been in production for a long time in one form or another, but that's not a bad thing. We like its easy power and free-revving character. If you care about acceleration, this is the engine you need in your XT5.
Adding AWD to the XT5 3.6 adds weight, too, but there's hardly any fuel economy penalty, per the EPA.
