Which 2024 Cadillac XT4 Should I Buy?
MotorDonkey's proprietary vehicle data identifies every significant version of each model so that you can compare and decide. Ordered by price from low to high, here are the versions of the 2024 Cadillac XT4 that you need to be aware of, along with our expert analysis and recommendations.
1. 2024 Cadillac XT4 2.0T Front-Wheel Drive
- Base Price: $37,895
- MPG Combined: 26
- Drive Type: Front-wheel drive
- Engine: 2.0-liter inline-4
- Aspiration: Turbocharged
- Transmission: 9-speed automatic
- Horsepower: 235
- Torque: 258 lb-ft
- Weight: 3,660 lbs
- Length: 180.9 in
- Towing Capacity: 3,500 lbs
The front-wheel-drive XT4 is mostly competitive on paper, but its engine lacks the performance and refinement of key rivals.
2. 2024 Cadillac XT4 2.0T All-Wheel Drive
- Base Price: $40,395
- MPG Combined: 25
- Drive Type: All-wheel drive
- Engine: 2.0-liter inline-4
- Aspiration: Turbocharged
- Transmission: 9-speed automatic
- Horsepower: 235
- Torque: 258 lb-ft
- 0-60: 7.0 sec
- Weight: 3,865 lbs
- Length: 180.9 in
- Towing Capacity: 3,500 lbs
The all-wheel-drive XT4 only loses a single mile per gallon relative to its front-wheel-drive sibling, which is partly explained by the fact that you have to push a button to activate AWD; by default, it's a front-wheel-drive vehicle, and it doesn't remember your preference from drive to drive. In any case, acceleration trails the pack and highlights the forgettability of the turbocharged four-cylinder engine.
