Is the 2025 Cadillac XT4 a Good SUV?
"The distinctively styled XT4 is mostly competitive on paper, but its 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine lacks the performance, refinement and fuel economy of key rivals. We like its crisp widescreen infotainment interface, though, and its seating is on the spacious side for a small SUV."—Ranked #8 out of 12 Subcompact Luxury SUVs

The front-wheel-drive XT4 is mostly competitive on paper, but its engine lacks the performance and refinement of key rivals.
2. 2025 Cadillac XT4 2.0T All-Wheel Drive
- Base Price: $43,295
- MPG Combined: 25
- Drive Type: All-wheel drive
- Engine: 2.0-liter inline-4

The all-wheel-drive XT4 only loses a single mile per gallon relative to its front-wheel-drive sibling, which is partly explained by the fact that you have to push a button to activate AWD; by default, it's a front-wheel-drive vehicle, and it doesn't remember your preference from drive to drive. In any case, acceleration trails the pack and highlights the forgettability of the turbocharged four-cylinder engine.
