Is the 2026 Cadillac Vistiq a Good SUV?
"The Vistiq's obvious limitation in this esteemed company is range, especially for the price. GM certainly knows about mega-range EVs, as evidenced by the stupendous Escalade IQ, but the Vistiq ain't one of them, topping out at 305 miles with the standard 11.5-kW onboard charger and dropping to an even 300 miles with the optional 19.2-kW charger specified. Since range is a top priority for most EV shoppers — and Lucid and Rivian will happily provide far more of it in this lofty price range — we've graded the Vistiq accordingly. But if you're just fine with 300-ish miles at best, this Caddy is otherwise a highly compelling three-row EV, from its suave styling to its excellent 33-inch curved infotainment display and spacious seating. It doesn't hurt that every Vistiq will do 0-60 in less than four seconds, so the box for 'insane EV acceleration' is definitely checked."—Ranked #6 out of 11 Large 3-Row Electric SUVs
Which 2026 Cadillac Vistiq Should I Buy?
MotorDonkey's proprietary vehicle data identifies every significant version of each model so that you can compare and decide. There's only one standalone version of the 2026 Cadillac Vistiq, and here it is, along with our expert analysis and recommendations.
2026 Cadillac Vistiq Dual Motor AWD
- Base Price: $77,395
- Range: 305 mi
- Battery Capacity: 102.0 kWh
- Peak Charge Rate: 190 kW
- Drive Type: All-wheel drive
- Engine: 2 electric motors
- Horsepower: 615
- Torque: 650 lb-ft
- 0-60: 3.7 sec
- Weight: 6,326 lbs
- Length: 205.6 in
- Towing Capacity: 5,000 lbs
Think of the Vistiq as two-thirds of an Escalade IQ and you'll be on the right track. While the Vistiq qualifies as large on its own merits, it's far less large than its big brother, so it's a nice option if you want a three-row EV that has a better chance of fitting in the garage. If there's an obvious weakness, it's range — the Vistiq tops out at 305 miles, which is downright paltry compared to rivals like the Rivian R1S and Lucid Gravity. Notably, if you want to upgrade from the standard 11.5-kW onboard charger (the one you use to charge up at home) to a 19.2-kW unit, you'll lose five miles of range as well as the seventh seating position, as the faster charger requires the six-passenger layout with second-row captain's chairs. Those changes will run you $2,280.
