Is the 2025 Cadillac Escalade ESV a Good SUV?
"The 'Slade ESV gets new duds for 2025 along with a jaw-dropping 55-inch infotainment screen that spans from one windshield pillar to the other. Does the standard 6.2-liter V8 bum you out with its humble 420-horsepower output? Enter the Escalade-V ESV, which thunders on with essentially a previous-generation Corvette Z06 supercharged V8 (682 hp) under the hood. Cadillac knows what shoppers in this segment want, and they're getting more than ever. A potentially interesting question, though, is whether you might prefer the all-electric Escalade iQ. There's a bit more rear legroom in the ESV versus the regular Escalade, but the real difference is behind the third row, where there's a lot more space for cargo.

Adding four-wheel drive to the ESV doesn't cost much in the scheme of things. Note that the EPA doesn't provide separate fuel-economy ratings for the ESV, which suggests that it'll get the same fuel economy as the regular Escalade despite being bigger and weighing more, to which we say...maybe!
