Is the 2025 BMW X6 M60i a Good SUV?
"As capable as the base X6 is, it definitely doesn't have the X6 M60i's ferocious twin-turbo V8. Thusly equipped, the X6 is transformed into a true performance SUV with acceleration that'll be more than enough for just about anyone."—Ranked #2 out of 3 Midsize Performance SUV Coupes
Which 2025 BMW X6 M60i Should I Buy?

The V8-powered X6 M60i raises our eyebrows for two reasons. First, it's massively more expensive than the X6 xdrive40i with its excellent turbocharged inline-6, though we'll grant that the V8 delivers a lot more oomph. Second, it's about $5k more expensive than the mechanically identical X5 M60i, which is more practical. But listen, we've been pooh-poohing the X6 for many years and it keeps coming back for more, so BMW has clearly found some customers. Value and versatility concerns aside, by the way, this vehicle drives stunningly well.
