The uplevel RS e-tron GT boasts more than 900 horsepower, but do you really need more acceleration than the base S e-tron GT provides? The price premium is huge, and you'll inevitably get less range, because the same battery pack is working to produce a lot more output. You can see the challenge automakers face in differentiating their high-performance EVs from ordinary ones, because even the ordinary S e-tron GT delivers supercar acceleration.
