What's New for 2025?
The e-tron GT's mild styling refresh this year pairs with major changes underneath. A larger 105-kWh battery enables increased outputs of 671 horsepower for the base S e-tron GT and 912 hp for the RS e-tron GT, while the e-tron GT's EPA range estimate shoots up by about 50 miles to an even 300. Max charging speed has also increased to a cutting-edge 320 kW. These upgrades don't come cheap — prices are up by nearly $20k.

Is the 2025 Audi e-tron GT a Good Car?
"The e-tron GT could sell us based on its styling alone, which amounts to one of the most striking automotive designs we've seen in years. The 671-hp powertrain is icing on the cake, though the 300-mile range rating is underwhelming in this rarified class. Just be aware that the e-tron GT has a tight backseat and small trunk, just like its Porsche Taycan platform-mate. This is more of a four-door sports car than a practical sedan, but that might suit you just fine if you can stomach the price."—Ranked #4 out of 7 Midsize Luxury Electric Cars
Which 2025 Audi e-tron GT Should I Buy?
MotorDonkey's proprietary vehicle data identifies every significant version of each model so that you can compare and decide. Ordered by price from low to high, here are the versions of the 2025 Audi e-tron GT that you need to be aware of, along with our expert analysis and recommendations.

1. 2025 Audi S e-tron GT
- Base Price: $125,500
- Range: 300 mi
- Battery Capacity: 105.0 kWh
- Peak Charge Rate: 320 kW
- Drive Type: All-wheel drive
- Engine: 2 electric motors
- Horsepower: 671
- Torque: N/A
- 0-60: 3.3 sec
- Weight: 5,126 lbs
- Length: 196.7 in
The "regular" S e-tron GT is anything but, thanks to its stunning styling and chest-compressing acceleration. Following a significant power injection for 2025, the S e-tron GT bolts to 60 mph in barely more than 3 seconds. If that bores you, fork over another $40k or so and the RS e-tron GT will easily break the 3-second barrier. You'll lose some range, though; we'd stick with the S. Either way, you'll enjoy state-of-the-art charging speeds up to 320 kW.
2. 2025 Audi RS e-tron GT
- Base Price: $167,000
- Range: 275 mi (est.)
- Battery Capacity: 105.0 kWh
- Peak Charge Rate: 320 kW
- Drive Type: All-wheel drive
- Engine: 2 electric motors
- Horsepower: 912
- Torque: N/A
- 0-60: 2.4 sec
- Weight: 5,104 lbs
- Length: 196.7 in
The uplevel RS e-tron GT boasts more than 900 horsepower, but do you really need more acceleration than the base S e-tron GT provides? The price premium is huge, and you'll inevitably get less range, because the same battery pack is working to produce a lot more output. You can see the challenge automakers face in differentiating their high-performance EVs from ordinary ones, because even the ordinary S e-tron GT delivers supercar acceleration.
