It's not a serious off-roader, but can the 2025 Nissan Rogue Rock Creek tackle dirt tracks like, say, a Subaru? Absolutely, thanks in part to the standard Falken Wild Peak all-terrain tires, which also knock the fuel economy down to a still-solid 29 mpg combined, 2 mpg worse than the regular Rogue AWD. Although the Rogue's turbo three-cylinder engine fails to deliver on the promise of its gaudy output numbers, this is otherwise a laudably well-rounded SUV. (Photo: Nissan)

The Rogue was last redesigned for the 2021 model year, and you can see its age in the central touchscreen, which sprouts from the dash like someone stuck an oversized phone up there. Newer rivals tend to utilize a single widescreen module for both the instrument panel and the central infotainment functions. (Photo: Nissan)
