2025 Mini Cooper Photo Reel

Can you tell the redesigned 2025 Mini Cooper from its predecessor? It's not easy, and that's kind of the point. You don't want to mess with iconic styling, as other automakers have learned the hardway. (Photo: Mini)

We like the pinched taillights on the redesigned 2025 Mini Cooper, however blasphemous they may seem to some for departing from the traditional ovals. To our eye, they're sportier and more contemporary than the previous taillights, but the car is still instantly recognizable as a Mini. (Photo: Mini)

Redesigned for 2025, the Cooper Convertible remains perhaps the purest expression of fun on four wheels, although the S version pictured here is harder to recommend now that the base model shares its 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine. (Photo: Mini)

Don't be alarmed by the Cooper Convertible's familiar taillights, which carry over from the previous generation. We initially thought they signified that the Convertible itself was a carryover model, but it turns out that the pinched taillights on the Hardtop variants simply wouldn't work for packaging reasons here. In all other respects, the Convertible is as new as any other 2025 Cooper. (Photo: Mini)

The Cooper S 4 Door is a hoot to drive like any other Cooper S variant, but we wish it were easier on the eyes. The relatively short rear doors and extended rear roofline don't flow gracefully into the back of the car. We miss the Clubman. (Photo: Mini)

It may not be the most attractive Cooper, but now that the Clubman has been discontinued, the Cooper 4 Door is definitely the most practical one. (Photo: Mini)
