FAST FACTS
2024 Honda Prologue
Starts at $47,400
What's New for 2024?
Making its debut this year, the Prologue is essentially a GM electric SUV, sharing its platform and mechanical bits with the Chevy Equinox EV and Blazer EV. Unlike the Chevy SUVs, though, the Prologue offers Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and we think it looks better, too.

1. 2024 Honda Prologue Front-Wheel Drive (Single Motor)
- Base Price: $47,400
- Range: 296 mi
- Battery Capacity: 85.0 kWh
- Peak Charge Rate: 150 kW
- Drive Type: Front-wheel drive
- Engine: 1 electric motor
- Horsepower: 212
- Torque: 236 lb-ft
- Weight: 4,932 lbs
- Length: 192.0 in
- Towing Capacity: 1,500 lbs
Looking at the stat sheet, it's obvious that the Prologue is fundamentally a Honda-styled Chevy Blazer EV, as the wheelbases are identical. The Blazer EV actually didn't offer the Prologue's single-motor, front-drive configuration for 2024 (only the cheaper Equinox EV did), but it does so for 2025, so the comparison is now fully apples-to-apples. We just wish the Prologue could be equipped with the Blazer EV's excellent rear-drive powertrain with more than 300 horsepower; on the Honda side, you'll need the Acura ZDX for that.
2. 2024 Honda Prologue All-Wheel Drive (Dual Motor)
- Base Price: $50,400
- Range: 281 mi
- Battery Capacity: 85.0 kWh
- Peak Charge Rate: 150 kW
- Drive Type: All-wheel drive
- Engine: 2 electric motors
- Horsepower: 288
- Torque: 333 lb-ft
- Weight: 5,086 lbs
- Length: 192.0 in
- Towing Capacity: 1,500 lbs
The Prologue AWD is a Chevy Blazer EV by another name, albeit with a styling reskin from Honda. Notably, you can also get this AWD powertrain in the Equinox EV, which is nearly the same size and significantly cheaper.
