Is the 2024 Genesis Electrified G80 a Good Car?
"The Electrified G80 is surprisingly competitive as an EV considering that it has to share its platform with the gas-powered G80 sedan. An estimated range of 282 miles and output of 365 horsepower make it relevant in this segment, although it faces an uphill climb as newer rivals join the fray with ever gaudier numbers. Limited rear headroom (a consequence of the battery's location under the rear floor) is a notable drawback, but the design of this Genesis has real flair inside and out."—Ranked #7 out of 7 Midsize Luxury Electric Cars

The Electrified G80 turns down the power a bit relative to other dual-motor Genesis EVs, but don't mistake that for slowness — this all-electric midsize sedan still hauls the mail and then some. But because of that slightly lower power output and a larger battery, it also gives you significantly more range than those other EVs we had in mind (the GV60 Performance and the Electrified GV70). It does, however, have a somewhat lower peak charge rate.
