The E-Ray is an all-wheel-drive Corvette hybrid, which would have been a strange thing to say before right now. But it's pretty cool when you consider that the electric motor bumps up total horsepower to 655 while barely affecting the EPA's fuel economy estimates. Not that the base Corvette needed more speed, but the E-Ray's got some for free (well, in the fuel-economy sense) if you want it.

The E-Ray doesn't strike us as a wind-in-your-hair kind of car, but there would certainly be a lot of wind if you put the top down and floored it. We'd prefer the Z06 to maximize the sound factor when the throttle's mashed, but to each their own.
