What's New for 2025?
Aside from a new Black Optic Plus appearance package for the Q3 45 (it's not available on the less powerful Q3 40), Audi's subcompact SUV is unchanged. Refreshingly, that includes the price, which holds the line this year.

Is the 2025 Audi Q3 a Good SUV?
"We should be clear that we're promoting the Q3 45 here, not the base Q3 40 with its weaksauce 184-horsepower engine. Acceleration is pokey in the 40 but quite swift in the 45, which only costs a couple grand more anyway and isn't dramatically less fuel-efficient. Compared to its rivals, though, the Q3 45's fuel economy does come up short. The Q3 is a nicely integrated product, like many Audis, but it's hard to find an area where it really shines."—Ranked #5 out of 12 Subcompact Luxury SUVs

1. 2025 Audi Q3 40 TFSI Quattro (2.0T All-Wheel Drive)
- Base Price: $37,400
- MPG Combined: 25
- Drive Type: All-wheel drive
- Engine: 2.0-liter inline-4
- Aspiration: Turbocharged
- Transmission: 8-speed automatic
- Horsepower: 184
- Torque: 221 lb-ft
- 0-60: 8.6 sec
- Weight: 3,902 lbs
- Length: 176.6 in
- Towing Capacity: N/A
Interestingly, the entry-level Q3, which comes standard with all-wheel drive, costs about the same as the all-wheel drive A3 sedan, so you can take your pick of bodystyles for the same price. Just be ready for leisurely acceleration (you don't often see luxury SUVs doing 0-60 in the mid-8-second range) if you pick the Q3, which weighs more and makes less power.
2. 2025 Audi Q3 45 TFSI Quattro (2.0T All-Wheel Drive)
- Base Price: $39,800
- MPG Combined: 23
- Drive Type: All-wheel drive
- Engine: 2.0-liter inline-4
- Aspiration: Turbocharged
- Transmission: 8-speed automatic
- Horsepower: 228
- Torque: 251 lb-ft
- 0-60: 7.1 sec
- Weight: 3,913 lbs
- Length: 176.6 in
- Towing Capacity: N/A
Audi neuters the 2.0T engine in the base Q3 40 TFSI so that you'll be tempted to upgrade to the 45 TFSI, and you should definitely give in to that temptation. Utilizing the same basic engine, the 45 TFSI unlocks more output and spanks the 40 TFSI to 60 mph by more than a second and a half. That's big value for $2,400 extra to start.
