The A7's Homelink buttons migrate to the rearview mirror, while the A7's Premium Plus trim now comes standard with the Executive package, which includes dual-pane acoustic glass, quad-zone climate control, ventilated front seats and heated rear seats. The A7 Prestige trim, meanwhile, upgrades to standard extended leather upholstery and multicontour front seats with massage.

The A7 is essentially a hatchback version of the A6 55 TFSI, which is a very good thing. The 55 TFSI powertrain centers around a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that serves up serious acceleration with impeccable refinement, plus a bonus 27 horsepower boost for A7 duty. The A7 also boasts a hatchback cargo area that holds far more than the A6 sedan, but you'll pay nearly 10 grand more for that privilege, so it's worth considering whether you really need the A7's extra cargo space, and of course its alluring fastback design.
The S7 used to have a luscious turbocharged V8 engine. You'll forgive us for that hint of nostalgia given that the current S7 has a turbocharged V6, just like the regular A7 55 TFSI. But the S7 actually isn't "just like" its lesser sibling, because its V6 is twin-turbocharged to produce nearly 80 more horsepower. Is that enough to justify a price hike of more than 13 grand?
