Scroll to:
1. 2024 Audi A6 45 TFSI (2.0T All-Wheel Drive)
- Base Price: $58,100
- MPG Combined: 26
- Drive Type: All-wheel drive
- Engine: 2.0-liter inline-4
- Aspiration: Turbocharged
- Transmission: 7-speed automated manual
- Horsepower: 261
- Torque: 273 lb-ft
- 0-60: 5.8 sec
- Weight: 4,101 lbs
- Length: 194.4 in
The base A6 boasts the stronger of Audi's two four-cylinder tunes and standard all-wheel drive. For almost 60 large, though, we'd want a little more performance than this A6 configuration provides.
2. 2024 Audi A6 55 TFSI (3.0T All-Wheel Drive)
- Base Price: $62,600
- MPG Combined: 25
- Drive Type: All-wheel drive
- Engine: 3.0-liter V6
- Aspiration: Turbocharged
- Transmission: 7-speed automated manual
- Horsepower: 335
- Torque: 369 lb-ft
- 0-60: 4.8 sec
- Weight: 4,266 lbs
- Length: 194.4 in
The A6 55 TFSI may sound like a minor upgrade based on the name, but it actually replaces the standard four-cylinder engine with a turbocharged V6 that delivers much more authoritative acceleration for just a few grand more than the base A6. You give up a few mpg on the fuel-economy front, but to us, that trade is very much worth it.
3. 2024 Audi S6 (2.9T AWD)
- Base Price: $75,500
- MPG Combined: 22
- Drive Type: All-wheel drive
- Engine: 2.9-liter V6
- Aspiration: Turbocharged
- Transmission: 8-speed automatic
- Horsepower: 444
- Torque: 442 lb-ft
- 0-60: 4.0 sec
- Weight: 4,486 lbs
- Length: 195.0 in
The S6 has even greater gobs of power for those who are left underwhelmed by the A6 55 TFSI sedan's turbocharged 3.0-liter V6. Although the S6 gives up a tenth of a liter, its 2.9-liter V6 is twin-turbocharged to produce more than 100 extra ponies. It's not the fastest super-sedan in this midsize class, but it's without a doubt the fastest A6 sedan variant.
