The Giulia remains so appealing today that it's easy to forget its age — it debuted for the 2017 model year. But Alfa has kept it fresh over the years with sensible updates. The only obvious marker of its provenance is the relatively small central display screen that's not stuck onto the dash like an iPad, but as noted, we see that as a plus. If you love to drive but need four doors, it's hard to do better than this beguiling Italian. ⛐ md
